Aloo Palak Pulao

Aloo Palak Pulao..


Apart from being a rich source of many vitamins like A, B, C, E and K, spinach is also rich in many essential minerals like manganese, magnesium, iron, calcium and potassium. Additionally it is known to be a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, niacin and selenium

Potatao...impressive nutritional content including being a rich source of fiber, potassium and vitamin C

Ingredients:

Aloo/Potato 1

Palak 2 cups tightly packed

Onion 1

Cinamon 1 inch peice

Elachi 2

Cloves 2

Star anise 1

Biryani leaf 1

Ginger garlic paste 1 spoon

Garam masala 1 spoon

Red chilli powder 1 spoon

Salt to taste

Ghee 2 spoons

Rice 2  1/2 cups

Cilantro for garnish.

water 4 1/2 cups(As Potatoes are there it need more water)

Procedure:

1.In a vessel,add ghee and saok rice in water.

2.Add Cinamon,Elachi,star anise,cloves and fry for 2 mins..

3.Add onions and let them become Transperent.

4.Now add Ginger garlic paste and potato pieces.

5.Let them fry for 5 mins and add palak leaves..

6.Add chillipowder,salt and garam masala

7.Add rice and fry for 2 mins.

8.Now Add water and transfer to rice cooker.

9.After it is done Garnish with Cilantro.

10.Serve hot with raitha
